How far in advance should we schedule our engagement session before our wedding date?
I recommend that couples schedule their engagement sessions at the very least 1.5 months before their set wedding date. Generally 2 months is most popular amount of time. This way I have plenty of to edit and deliver the photos. 2 months also allows for plenty of time to get announcements made and delivered.
How far in advance to my wedding should my bridal/formal session be?
Generally bridals and formals are taken within 2 weeks of the set wedding date, however these sessions can be scheduled any amount of time prior to the wedding.
I want my photographs to be printed and displayed at my reception. Should I schedule my bridal/formal session earlier than 2 weeks before my wedding?
Absolutely. This will not only gives me enough time to edit the bridals and give them too you, but also gives you enough time to get the images sent to a printer and time to finalize your decor. If my clients need the bridal/formal images for their reception I generally like to schedule the session at least 3-4 weeks before the wedding date.
What is the difference between a bridal session and a formal session?
A formal session includes both the bride and the groom. Bridal sessions include only the bride.
What locations are best to schedule our session?
I have so many ideas of where to take love story photos. One thing to think about is how you want the look and feel of your love story photos to be. This can base where we take your photos. Do you want formal photos? Maybe more relaxed at the park? I carefully consult with all of my clients to be sure to take photos at the right spot.
Do you design wedding announcements?
Yes! I love designing wedding announcements. It is an added a plus to have your announcements designed by your photographer. That way you can skip steps of finding a designer, printer, and envelopes. Not to mention the extra time it takes for all of those steps. I can provide the design, printing, and envelopes all in one bundled price. How long does photo editing usually take and why?
An engagement photo session editing takes 1 week. This amount of time ensures that you receive the best quality of editing. I have my own unique style of editing in which the true magic comes out of the photos. Once your photos are edited I upload them to your personal online image gallery and mail a cd with all the high resolution edited images included.
Can I get my photos sooner than 1Week?
Yes, however a $35 rush fee will be applied.
Do you provide canvas prints?
Yes! Canvas prints are some of my most favorite things to present to clients. They brighten your home and what better way to display your new family photos? I use the highest quality printers that can provide a variety of canvas sizes. View more details here.
